May/June Challenge runs from now to July 15
Skeletons in the closet - Do you dare scrap yours???
Okay girls, I have what I think is not only a fun challenge but one that will require you to really put on your thinking caps and stretch your creative muscles.
Off we go-
This months prompt: The song "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls (one of my favorite songs)
1. I don't want you to refer to what this song is really about or what you think it is really about. I want you to use this song as inspiration and relate it to whatever it brings up for you in your own life. You do not have to use the entire song as inspiration. It can be one verse, one line or even a few words that you can relate to. What does it make you feel? How do you relate to the words in this song? If you were going to speak some of the words who would you be talking to?
2. You cannot use a picture on your page. You must use imagery. There are tons of clipart out there. There are tons of awesome artists on etsy. Try to visualize what the song or line makes you feel and look for an image to suit it.
If you need direction on finding an imagery artist let me know and I will share will some of the artists I purchase from on etsy. I want to see you get artsy. I want to feel your page. I want emotion in the form of art.
3. Twist- if you do your project on canvas instead of paper you will get an extra point!!!!
4. You do not have to journal on this project where we can see it or at all if you do not want to. Just give us an idea of what you were feeling when you created it.
5. Have fun with this one! I CANNOT wait to see what you guys do with this!!!!
Here is my piece:

Mel gave me permission to post a sneak peek on my design team work for this month.
I used the canvas that was in our color add on as well as tons of mists on the canvas paper.
The butterflies, girl, and alpha are all digi clip art I got off etsy.
Some of you may have heard of the physcology term "inner child"
For me- this songs speaks to that. I used one line from the song on my project- "I just want you to know who I am"
